What is a mature science?
We excel at any NON-MATURE SCIENCE. That is, we can figure
out how to do something before other people can.
There's a lot I can usually figure out when first presented with
any new problem, idea, technology or trend.
There's a reasonable chance that I can come up with ideas just starting out with a new problem.
Other people might not come up with new ideas until
others improve an idea, and eventually, huge advances
in the field are made.
Because my thought processes are very dissimilar from the norm, I
tend to figure things out regardless of how much "common knowledge"
there is on a subject.
If lots of people work on something for a good long time, eventually,
someone else will already come up with whatever
ideas I figure out on my own.
Increasingly common knowledge leaves more specialities and fewer undiscovered ideas for the
field.
